Tom Wilson
Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Tom studied at Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Royal School of Mines. At Hess Corporation, he led multi-billion-dollar engineering operations across five continents and was the first engineer deployed to North Dakota’s Bakken Shale in the mid-2000s.
As an early hire to Lilac Solutions’ executive team in 2019, Tom built the organization's operations and resource capabilities.
He has advised the UK government on energy policy and participated in over $3 billion in resource transactions over two decades.

David Edwards
Chief Financial Officer
David has held senior leadership roles at two natural resource companies, playing key roles in their growth and successful monetization.
During his 15-year investment banking career at firms inclduing UBS and BMO Capital Markets, David advised on over $15 billion in closed transactions encompassing M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments in the energy industry.
David holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Texas.

Thomas Goode
Chief Technology Officer & Vice President Exploration
With an MSci in Geology from the University of Southampton, Thomas has spent a decade in the oil and gas industry working across exploration, development, new ventures, and operations for small and mid-cap operators.
Thomas’s experience spans the UK, Norway, Central and West Africa, Brazil, and India where he has identified a significant unconventional reservoir in the UK, drilled four discovery wells in Chad, and supported complex offshore operations in Equatorial Guinea. Thomas has drilled more than 30 wells across four continents, delivered discoveries in both the oil and lithium industries, and pioneered Atana’s exploration thesis.
